Ms. Esther Nguyen
Chief Executive Officer, POPS Worldwide

Esther earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law. Esther is a member of the California State Bar.

Esther has founded a number of successful startups, and first started working in Vietnam since 2004. Her latest venture started in 2007 when she founded POPS Worldwide. After 10 years of cleaning up and building up the digital music and entertainment industry, POPS Worldwide now is  leading digital entertainment in Southeast Asia.

Esther has been invited to speak at the University of Southern California, National University of Singapore, Music Matters Conference in Hong Kong, Midem in Cannes, France, Hatch! Fair and many more on the topics of entrepreneurship and media.

Ms. Linh Dương
Independent Filmmaker

Linh is a Vietnamese independent filmmaker. She has just completed a tetralogy of shorts about middle-aged women that challenge their definition of sufferings. Her films have been selected for various festivals in Asia and Europe. Her latest short film, "Mother, Daughter, Dreams", has been entered at the Busan International Film Festival 2018 and is making its way to other film festivals around the world. Linh is currently developing her feature debut, which has recently won first prize at Script to Screen Vietnam 2019 and will take her to the American Film Market this November. 

Linh previously attended the Asian Film Academy (Busan International Film Festival 2016), Locarno Summer Academy (Festival del film Locarno 2015), Autumn Meeting (2015 - 2017 - 2018) and Fantastic Film School (Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival 2015), all of which offered great inspiration and encouragements for her filmmaking career.

Mr. Hoang Tran
Marketing and Product Specialist, Canon Vietnam

As a passionate expert with more than 10 years in the camera industry, Hoang has been helping Canon in expanding its portfolio of camera products from 2013. He also in charge of the Canon Imaging Academy Photography Institute, specialising in training basic photography and videography courses for Canon customers.


Ms. Krista Magee

Krista graduated from a film school on the Isle of Man in 2006. Since then she has worked on many different film and creative projects in a variety of countries., from working as a camera assistant to producing and directing her own short films. When not in production, she works on community-based projects and has always found time to share her skills in workshops. Since 2014, based in Singapore, she has been guiding students at Tanglin Trust School as Technical Instructor for the Film and Media Department.

Krista was instrumental in helping establish the AAYFF in 2016 and she's been on the jury of a number of film festivals in the past and was a member of the shortlisting committee for the 1st and 2nd editions.

Krista loves to travel, literature, trekking, travel, water sports and film, obviously.
